Equine
Prosthetic Patients

Thor:
Thor is a 16-year-old, 16 hand, Thoroughbred gelding with a
right hind foot prosthetic. The majority of his leg is present,
although completely non-functional from the fetlock down. |

Jude:
Jude is a three-year-old burro with a left front prosthetic
foot. His stump terminates at the cannon-bone. |
 |
Gideon:
Gideon is a seven-year-old stallion with a full right hind leg
prosthesis for five years now. His stump terminates at mid-cannon,
although he does not have any mobility in his hock anymore.
His prosthetic was rebuilt to improve upon the gait pattern.

Marzeppa:
Zeppa
is an eight-year old warmblood gelding. He had suffered a traumatic
injury to his shoulder that resulted in a radial nerve paralysis
of his left front leg. |

Blitz:
Blitz is an eight year old Thoroughbred gelding with a degenerative
condition of the right front fetlock. The short brace is his,
and he is graciously modeling our knee-brace. |

Mickie:
Mickie is a one month-old appendix quarter horse colt. He was
born with windswept feet on both front and hind. Equine Prosthetics
made a custom brace for him that supported and corrected the
valgus (bowleg) deformity. |
Canine Prosthetic Patients

Beauty:
Beauty
is a one-year old female Doberman mix that was found in a drain
ditch as a very young puppy. She was in extremely poor condition
and radiographs show she has a congenital deformity with little
or no ulna and carpus |

Emily:
Emily is an five year old poodle schnauzer mix that was rescued
after suffering a fracture of her right forleg. She was unable
to move and subsequently had lost her paw just below the carpus
due to frostbite. |

Satchi:
Satchi is a three-year-old female golden retriever living in
Spain. She had a cancerous tumor on her left hind leg that required
removal of her leg above the hock. She also has a debilitating
injury on the opposing leg. |
